Los Amigos was Idea of three friends from Florida who enjoyed surfing, good food and drinks who vacationed in Jaco Beach yearly. The idea was to combine American style food with Costa Rican style and thus Los Amigos was created. The owners Chris, Jeeem and Dino welcome you to Jaco Beach and hope you enjoy your stay with us.
The aroma, the music, the atmosphere and most of all the incredible food are available here at Los Amigos. Located in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica. Los Amigos has brought everything but the sunshine to Jaco Beach and is a thriving part of the local community. Authentic ingredients and our Master Chef ensure that every mouth-watering dish is a true delight to be savored.
LOS AMIGO’S BAR AND GRILL opened in mid 2004 and has been busy ever since. The customers make the atmosphere and the menu is what keeps them coming back for more. From Wraps, to smoothies, to our sea food dishes and mouth watering Steaks– our menu takes your taste buds on a voyage of discovery. We are open for breakfast from 7 am, then offer Lunch from 12 noon to 4 PM and Dinner is served from 4pm till Midnight. We have a fully stocked bar for your drinking pleasures.

The Master Chef Mr. Lemon grew up in the Bahamas where his grandmother let him cook with her, thereby beginning the culinary infusion process. He served a three year apprenticeship at the renowned La Vielle Maison restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida.

Graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, In New York, and in 1994, along with wife Nellie, opened his own successful restaurant in Del Ray Beach, Florida, Splendid Blendeds Café.
After 11 years in the field, Chef Lemon decided to move on to new
dreams and a quest to achieve higher plateaus of restaurant greatness.
In 2005, he joined the faculty of Le Cordon Bleu Miami, and assumed the role of Chef Instructor for the school’s restaurant, Tropiblieu. Now he has tilted his beret toward Costa Rica’s Jaco Beach by opening LEMON ZEST Restaurant and becoming part of our growing restaurant community.
Homemade pizzas! Spot to surfers and offers Tex-Mex standards You can also enjoy a excellent fresh fish and perfectly prepared seafood dishes. There are a variety of sandwiches in homemade pita bread. The portions are big. It always has fresh tuna lightly seared and served with a soy-wasabi dressing. Partying at one of Jaco’s many nightclubs is a must for someone staying in the town. There are many places, but some are more popular than others. The Monkey Bar is a neat place sporting big screen TV’s on the walls playing surf videos while the dj spins everything from latin club music to 50cent. Many good lookin’ ladies here and a big dance floor and also you can get good food and tropical drinks. Now we are not stating that all trips revolve around excellent cuisine but it sure helps. Fresh seafood is always available including shrimp, many types of fish, squid, clams, scalops, and more. If you have not had a cold beer with a serving of Ceviche (raw fish or shrimp in lime juice) on a hot day then you just have not truely experienced some of Costa Rica’s finest bocas (snacks or h’orderves).

A group of investors which includes Roz Stevens, who has been residing in Jaco and San Jose for the last 5 years, are bringing the Monkey Bar back but Funkier than ever. The Funky Monkey should be opening sometime in late September or early October!
We have done a lot of renovations that you must come see for yourself…..its still a little like the old Monkey Bar but very much new and improved! We are also renovating the bar in the back to a very nice VIP ROOM with new TV’s, couches, new bar and tons more…again you have to come see it for yourself!
Our music format on the weekends will be a mix of American Dance hip hop and electronic….with a few Latin songs mixed in as well! We are also doing a new food concept of American Barbeque….which will great. Most dishes will be available for around $8 including a drink. We will also be doing 2 for 1 cocktails all day Sunday and everyday from 9 pm to 10 pm. So come and watch sports and get great deals on drinks every Sunday day and night!! Look for our new website coming soon that will feature all of daily specials.
Le Loft is located right in the middle of the action in the Jaco area. Its on the 2nd floor of the big red building across from Pop’s Ice Cream and Los Amigos.
